Belarus marks the Day of people’s Unity on 17 September. The holiday was instituted on 7 June 2021 by Belarusian president’s Decree No.206.

The unconditional priority of legislative activity is ensuring the independence and defense capability of the state, Chairman of the House of Representatives Igor Sergeyenko said as he opened the third session of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus of the eighth convocation in Minsk on 16 September, BelTA has learned.

In the world Belarus is known for its thoroughness, strict adherence to reached agreements, and ability to tackle large-scale challenges with optimal resources, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said in an interview with the Russian magazine Razvedchik, BelTA has learned.

As part of the Belarusian-Russian strategic army exercise Zapad 2025 [West] the 227th combined-arms military training area is used to practice repulsing aerial attacks against the staging area of a combined-arms reserve of the regional military force, representatives of the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.

Plans are underway to connect Minsk and satellite cities with fast transport links, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at an opening ceremony for the reconstructed Loshitsa historical and cultural complex in Minsk on 12 September, BelTA has learned.
