Special economic zone Bremino-Orsha in Vitebsk Oblast to get big trade, expo center

An international Silk Road trade center as large as 62ha will be built in the special economic zone Bremino-Orsha in line with the agreement signed by Bremino Group and Shaanxi Zhongqiao Silk Road Technology Development Company (China), Bremino Group representatives told BelTA.

The trade center will offer outlets for wholesale and retail trade in consumer goods. It will offer freight delivery and warehousing services, online trade operations, and opportunities for showcasing products from various Asian countries. The project will be implemented within the framework of the Belt and Road initiative.

Over Br128 million will be invested in the project.

The special economic zone Bremino-Orsha started working in the town of Bolbasovo, Orsha District, Vitebsk Oblast in June 2019. The resident companies are entitled to certain tax preferences and advantages: no income tax for 9 years; no real estate tax for 20 years; no tax on dividends till 1 January 2033, 5% tax on royalties until 1 January 2028, and other ones.
